There’s a whole lot of talk about healthy eating and healthy snacking for kids, but when it comes to what kids are drinking… crickets. Can you hear them?
Fruit juices with sugar, soda, milky-chocolate-y drinks and artificial mixtures dominate the market. And we’ve gotten into this mindset that if the word “organic” is on the label it automatically means healthy. EKKK!
The undisputed fact is so simple: water is the healthiest option for everyone when it comes to healthy drinks, and that includes kids. Water hydrates the body, regulates temperature, supports healthy organ functioning and prevents constipation. Generally the rule is the more water you drink the better. But the $6 million question is— how in the world do you get your kid to fall in love with water?
How do you get them to reach for healthy drinks instead of soda at that birthday party? How do you get them to turn their nose up at chocolate milk at their best friend’s house?
Well, like anything when it comes to kids, you have to make it fun. I mean F-U-N fun!
That’s where Tickle Water comes in, healthy drinks for kids.
It’s water + fun, the best combination for kid’s healthy drinks. As the name implies, Tickle Water tickles your tongue and is prone to make children (and young-hearted adults) giggle and smile and, most importantly, drink! And even want more! Before you know it, they’re heading off to college drinking Tickle Water at fraternity and sorority parties instead of beer (a mother can dream, can’t she?).
It’s pure water with a kick of carbonation and natural fruit flavors. Nothing else — No sugar. No artificial sweeteners. No artificial flavors. No sodium. No GMOs. No frog legs. No cricket wings. No automobile parts. Nothing bad. My son loves it. As a matter of fact, Tickle Water was inspired by a mother’s love and desire for her child to develop a healthy drinking habit. That mother would be me, Heather, and the child is my sweet boy Jayger Wilde (as in the brave and brilliant author, Oscar Wilde).
We are the poster family for Tickle Water, and it’s my personal mission to tickle kids everywhere into drinking more water (healthy drinks), and growing into healthy vivacious, hydrated adults.
As a parent, I want you, too, to experience the joy that wells up when your kid asks for healthy drinks instead of soda at a birthday party. In front of everyone! And says please. #smirkingmother
p.s. Kids make funny faces when they try Tickle Water for the first time. Send me a photo of your kids’ first Tickle Water experience and I’ll post it on our ‘First Giggles’ tab on this website (with their first name only).
