We live in a country that loves to emphasize the bad news; so here’s a plan: let’s combat this negative focus by, celebrating all the positive news we come across. Sound good? One-recent victory, was a report that soda consumption is falling sharply in the United States, while healthy kid drinks like bubbly water is on the rise — big time!
In fact, carbonated bottled water (healthy drinks for kids) sales have increased by over 56% (2009-2014), according to the market research firm Euromonitor International. Whoo-hoo!
With this new cultural trend beginning to take hold, our kids have a better chance at developing healthier drinking habits than we did growing up. Choosing healthy kid drinks like water over soda means less sugar in the little one’s system and more hydration.
It means less frenetic sugar highs and steadier, more stable behavior. It means less bellyaches and spoiled appetites, and more smiles and finished meals. If all of that doesn’t tickle your fancy, just think of the money parents will save on dental bills as children opt for water over soda.
With Tickle Water, it’s my mission to further this trend until choosing water over soda is a bonafied American staple in our childrens’ daily life. Giving America healthy kid drinks. My son Jayger is in on it too. When we go out to eat he loves asking the wait staff, for “some bubbly, please.” When they ask (jokingly) if he means soda or champagne, he says “Tickle Water,” with a big smile.
While Tickle Water (healthy kid drinks) is not in restaurants just yet, I already have my number one salesperson primed and ready.
