Beverage companies spend tons of money every year to make their products seem healthy. Scan the drink cooler of any grocery store, and you’ll spot all kinds of marketing gimmicks. They promise less sugar, the use of real fruit, the prospect of more energy, a way to get vegetables, or to be good for ‘diets.’ A lot of these claims are often misleading or untrue. But one thing that no marketing effort can argue against: water is better than soda.
Just this week, I noticed this article in Business Insider, which said that many supposedly healthy beverages contain a ton of sugar. Brands that most of us think of as healthy—like Vitamin Water, V8 Juice, and Odwalla smoothies—contain much more sugar than most of us should be consuming in an entire day. In other words, if you have a smoothie for breakfast or a Vitamin Water in the afternoon, you’ve already had more sugar than you’re supposed to take in all day.
Because Tickle Water is nothing but healthy drinking water—plus bubbles and natural flavor—we will never have to worry about cutting down sugar or making misleading claims in our advertising. As a result, your kids can drink as much of it as they want. You’ll never have to worry if your kids are drinking enough water.
Having a healthy product makes it much easier to market. We don’t have to come up with clever ways to mask problems. At Tickle Water, we will never have to say “less sugar” or “fewer calories.” This is the simple fact:Tickle Water is just water. Period. We never use sugar. There are no calories.
